Wizard Nebula

NGC 7380 or The Wizard Nebula is an emission nebula surrounding the open star cluster NGC 7380 in the constellation Cepheus. The cluster is about 7,200 light years from Earth and has a radius of 100 light years. The apparent size of the nebula is about the same size as a full moon.

Optics: 8" f/3.9 Orion Newtonian Astrograph with coma corrector
Mount: Celestron AVX
Camera: Canon 60D unmodified
Guiding: 60mm guide scope with orion starshoot
Dates: September 23 through October 4-2021
Location: Taken at my Backyard observatory in Northwest Mo.
Exposure details: 8.0 hours of 4-minutes subs, ISO-1600 no calibrations frams
