NGC 457 also known as the owl cluster is an open star cluster 7,900 light away from the sun. This cluster of stars has an estimated age of 21 million years. It was discovered by William Herschel in 1787.

Location: Taken at my Backyard observatory in Northwest Mo.
Exposure details: 5 hours 3-minutes subs, ISO-1250 no calibrations frams
