The Cresent Nebula

The Cresent Nebula also known as ngc 6888, Caldwell27, and Sharpless 105, the Cresent nebula is about 5000m lightyears from earth in the constellation Cygnus. This galactic bubble of expanding clouds of gas is produced by the bright star near the center.

Optics: 8" f/3.9 Orion Newtonian Astrograph with coma corrector
Mount: Celestron AVX
Camera: Canon 60D unmodified
Guiding: 60mm guide scope with orion starshoot
Dates: June 12 through 15-2021
Location: Taken at my Backyard observatory in Northwest Mo.
Exposure details: 7.6 hours 4-minutes subs, no calibrations frams
Processing: Pixlnsight, photoshop
