Annular Solar eclipse 5-20-2012
Image details:

An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon are exactly in line, but the Moon is at it's fursest distance from Earth (the apogee), so the Moon is smaller than of the Sun. The Sun appears as a very bright ring, or annulus, surrounding the outline of the Moon.
For my location it was a partial solar eclipse.
